The Stark Development Board partners with the following organizations in helping businesses grow and prosper in Northeast Ohio.

Team NEO is a private sector-led regional economic development organization. It was created in 2003 by FirstEnergy Corporation, the Greater Akron Chamber, The Stark Development Board, The Lorain County Chamber of Commerce, The Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, and The Greater Cleveland Partnership.

The Impact Angel Fund is a venture capital fund with over 30 private investors from eight counties and matching funds from the Ohio Third Frontier Program. We will invest in early-stage technology companies in our region and throughout Ohio.

The Stark Entrepreneurship Alliance is a one-stop shop for early-stage and start-up companies in Stark County, OH. The alliance provides assistance in all aspects of creating and growing a business including business consulting, recruiting management, financing, real estate, product innovation, mentoring and coaching, legal and accounting, and more.

“Cleveland Plus” is the regional business marketing campaign that creates an accurate and positive impression of Northeast Ohio both inside and outside the region. Housed at Team NEO, Cleveland Plus conducts marketing campaigns to identify business opportunities, provides extensive outreach to national and international media, distributes positive news and information to community influencers and business leaders, and works with local human resources managers in their efforts to attract and retain talent.

The Northeast Ohio Trade and Economic Consortium (NEOTEC) is a ten-county economic development partnership. Member counties include Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne. NEOTEC's mission is to promote domestic trade, international trade and global competitiveness of the region and its businesses.

Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network (MAGNET) supports, educates and champions manufacturing in Northern Ohio with the goal of transforming the region's economy into a powerful global player. MAGNET is the voice for and to the region's manufacturers, as well as the "one stop shop" for the public and private resources needed by those companies to compete around the world.

JumpStart is a nationally recognized nonprofit serving to accelerate the success of diverse entrepreneurs, their high growth companies, and the ecosystems supporting them. JumpStart's vision is to increase the economic impact and sustainability of Northeast Ohio’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, while leveraging JumpStart’s experience and expertise to catalyze entrepreneurship.

OhioMeansJobs Stark and Tuscarawas Counties are northeastern Ohio’s premier workforce development and training centers that connect job seekers with employers by providing numerous resources in a single location. It is a free service made possible through funds provided by the U.S. Department of Labor and operated locally by the Workforce Investment Board, the Stark and Tuscarawas County Commissioners and the Mayor of the City of Canton.
